A storyteller at heart, Michele Cushatt inspires audiences with the warmth of her transparency and presence. Her unique style makes you feel like you just spent an afternoon with a good friend, sparking tears one moment and making you laugh the next. Having experienced both the best and worst of life, she’s unafraid to disclose the imperfect spaces, so that you know you’re not alone in yours. More than anything, she wants you to feel understood, valued, and equipped with practical tools to find the story in even the most unexpected circumstances.
As an experienced keynote speaker and emcee, Michele’s speaking experience covers the United States and includes Women of Faith, Focus on the Family, Hearts-at-Home, women’s and writer’s conferences, business, and church events as well as various radio, video and audio recording projects. In 2013, she joined the Compassion International team as one of their speaker advocates for children in poverty.
Since 2007, Michele has been on staff with Dynamic Communicators International, co-led by Ken Davis and Michael Hyatt. She fills multiple roles at these events including emcee, presenter and coach. With a solid understanding of what makes for excellent communication, Michele has coached multiple large-platform speakers in how to craft and deliver powerful presentations.
Pulling from her entirely unique life experiences, Michele writes feature articles, blog posts, stories and devotional meditations for numerous publications including MOPS International, Today’s Christian Woman, Fullfill Magazine, Hearts-at-Home, Upper Room Ministries, David C. Cook’s Quiet Hour, Standard Publishing’s Devotions, and multiple compilation books including five titles in the Chicken Soup series. Currently, she is a regular blog contributor at Faith Life Women and and a Community Leader on Michael Hyatt’s blog.
Michele and the love of her life, Troy, live in Colorado with their six children, ages 6 to 21, and one very hairy black lab. She enjoys a good novel, a slow afternoon outside, a long run, and a kitchen table filled with people.
