How are you?
I miss your face. As much as I love the Internet’s ability to eliminate geographical barriers, I miss having face-to-face time with you. Doing this read-through-the-Bible on the blog is a little weird. Usually I’m speaking to dozens of women packed in a room, the chatting so loud you’d think you walked into an overpopulated chicken farm. This, however, is very quiet. No chickens. And I’m still getting used to it.
I’ve heard from many of you through email. It means a lot to me when you share your stuff, invite me into your adventure, expose your struggles. When I hear from you, I’m pushed to keep pressing on myself. Remember, we’re in this together. All the way to Day 365.
So tell me how you’re doing. Really. Post a comment (it’s easy) or shoot me an email. But send me an update, okay? You matter to me.
- Day 99 (Monday): 1 Samuel 4-8
- Day 100: 1 Samuel 9-12
- Day 101: 1 Samuel 13-14
- Day 102: 1 Samuel 15-17
- Day 103: Psalm 11, 1 Samuel 18-20, Psalm 59
- Day 104: 1 Samuel 21-24
- Day 105: Psalm 7, Psalm 27, Psalm 31, Psalm 34
I am thoroughly enjoying this. I always enjoy what you have to say. I am a couple days behind since I am taking my time reading it verse by verse – not just hurrying through like I have other times. It is amazing how something new just “pops out” at you every time you read God’s Word.
Hi Michele,
I’ve been reading through a lot of your blog posts, starting to feel like I know you just a little better! I love the Seven4Seven project you’ve got going on. Such a great way to disciple others. I’m still trying to find not balance but harmony (Ian Morgan Cron) on my blog. You’ve managed to achieve that with yours. I’m encouraged by what you have shared. Thank you!
Cindy, I so agree. I never get tired of seeing stories and characters as if they are “new”. Love it. Thanks for coming along on this little road trip with me. 🙂
Marina, wow. Thank you for your kind comments. Not sure I deserve them, but I appreciate you. So glad you visited!
I just started Seven4Seven today… I feel awkwardly behind everyone else but for some reason I woke up this morning, (ok well this afternoon), since I didn’t go to school, and decided I needed to read the bible cover to cover. So here goes a journey…. I’m feeling pretty good about it. Thinking it could be a good thing.
