Lasting First Impressions

Mar 30, 2009

How do people remember their time with you?

I flew to Indianapolis this weekend. A short trip, only a couple nights for a taping of two of Ken’s shows. The shows were top notch, and the time with our team, the volunteers and the audience even better. But that has absolutely nothing to do with what I want to say.

Friday morning, when leaving my car in DIA’s long term parking in order to catch the 10:25 to Indy, I looked around for an open spot. Then, in a blink, I remembered him:  Mr. R. With a smile on my face and not a second’s hesitation, I pulled into Row C.

Mr. R would be so proud.

For some people, all it takes is a few minutes to leave a lasting impression.

Are you making the most of your few minutes?
