The most important moments of life often require the neglecting—at least for a season—of lesser ones.
I’ve had to do a bit of neglecting over the past several months, including this blog. You may have noticed. In fact, many of you wrote to let me know you missed me.
Thank you for that. And, please, forgive me. It wasn’t personal, I assure you. The reason for my extended absence?
I wrote another book.
This makes Book #3, and I have to tell you: It’s perhaps my most important project to date. And the most grueling. It required a deep mining of my soul and story as well as Biblical history, more than I’d done before. It was painful and all-consuming, so much so I had to neglect a few “lesser things” for about ten months.
The good news? The heavy-lifting is finished. And I’m a better, stronger woman for the process. I learned things I couldn’t have learned without writing about it, and parts of my story were healed in the telling of it. When I started, I had no idea where God would lead. But by the end, I felt deep thanks for the light He revealed along the way.
Although I still have edits to complete and a book launch to plan, I can not wait for you two to meet. Mark November 12th on the calendar. It’s a date.
Also, in case you were wondering, we have a title.
Are you ready?
You sure?
Here you go:
Relentless: The Unshakeable Presence of a God Who Never Leaves
Glory. Go ahead and let that truth soak into your bones like water on dry ground. You are not alone friend, not even close.
Thank you for celebrating with me. Now, before you get back to your holiday celebrating and I return to mine, I have TWO important updates:
1. I recently changed to a NEW Email List Management system. What does that mean for you? Hopefully, not a thing. If you subscribed to receive regular updates, you still are. However, we’re still working out the glitches,. Thank you ahead of time for your patience with the process. And if you haven’t joined our community, why don’t you go ahead and do that now? 2019 promises to be a big year, and I don’t want you to miss a thing.
2. Still looking for a gift for a family member or friend, teacher or neighbor? I’m offering three special Christmas bundles THIS WEEK ONLY: An “Undone Bundle,” an “I Am Bundle,” and the “Ultimate Holiday Book Bundle.” Each gift comes packaged in a beautiful organza bag with a sweet treat and an olive wood cross. NOTE: There’s a story behind the cross, so be sure you check out my Instagram or Facebook account to get the full story.
Merry Christmas, friends. Just as Mary and Joseph neglected many lesser things to make room for the Incarnation, may you and I spend this season letting go of lesser things so that we can make room for what matters most of all.
He IS with us.
With love, Michele
Can’t wait for Relentless! God has certainly proven that to me, especially in the last few months. Yes, letting go of lesser thongs is very freeing, hard, but worth it

So excited for your new book! Since you first hinted at this one I’ve been checking Amazon for preorder for weeks! Not there yet but I’ll keep looking! Are you doing a launch team or did you just mean preparing to launch as in birth it out to the world? Can’t wait for it to get here!
Congratulations!! Thank you for your generosity in pouring out your heart to share His.
Beautiful! The title is perfect! I wept when I your announcement. I am living God’s unshakable presence during a long and extremely difficult time in my life. You have a way of putting into words what God is already doing in our lives. I know your book will resonate with many souls and bring encouragement and hope to all that read your new book–I can’t wait!
Will not miss! God bless this endeavor !
I have discovered your book Undone a couple of days ago, a good frien put it in my hand as I was praying and asking the Lord for help. Read Undone breathless. Like I wrote on another post, my mother has brain tumour, inoperable, so this is my storm at the moment, I live in France, my mum in Romania. Technology is our life line, my brother is my reliable helper. Your story resonates so much in my heart and it encourages me enormously! Thank you Lord for letting Michele be your messenger. Blessings and much love, can’t wait to read Relentless.
Lori, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. My heart is broken for you. At the same time, I’m again amazed at God’s tenderness, the way He met you in your dark hour through a friend. His presence is such a comfort! Praying over you this morning, that you would sense His nearness and be filled with peace. Much love, sister.
