I hope you don’t mind, but I have a little more good news to share.
In addition to the Chicken Soup: Devotionals for Mothers (updated release date is October 3rd), I’ve also been informed that one of my stories will be included in Chicken Soup: Christmas Magic, to be released October 12. This is another story close to my heart, and something I often blog about around the holidays. It’s not available for purchase yet, but you can preorder through Amazon.com.
In addition to my CS good news, Sunday I completed a contract for Upper Room Ministries Disciplines 2012. Obviously the release is a ways off, but I’m thrilled with being asked to write for this project. It’s the first time I’ve written for Upper Room, an amazing ministry that’s been around for 75 years. I’ve spent a great deal of time working on this one, and although I feel some relief that it’s done, I can honestly say I learned a lot in the process. The intensive study I put in provided great spiritual insight. One of those added benefits of the writing process!
Anyway, just wanted to share my news. I haven’t done that much in the past, but many of you have asked for ongoing writing updates. So there you go. You’ve been properly updated. 🙂
Congratulations! We have a couple of CS's on our bookshelves but not either one of these, so I'll definitely put them on my Amazon wish list! I always look forward to your spiritual insights. It will be great to see what God does through you and in you as you continue to dig deeply into His Word!!
Thanks so much, Marina. You're such an encourager! So how have you been? Feels like tooooo long since we last did a little online connecting. :o) Hope you and your family are good!
Congratulations Michelle. I look forward to reading these stories when they come out. So glad your writing is being recognized. You have such a pure, tender heart and I know that people will be impacted by what you present in these books.
Thanks, Diane. 🙂 Of course I consider you the CS story writing pro! You seem to turn them out left and right. Thanks for the encouragement!
